We went to a demonstration on being a surgeon at the Liberty Science Museum in Jersey City, NJ. Dermot volunteered to help. The leader was nice and chose him to be a circulation nurse. Dermot got to put on gloves to be sanitary. Then he got to help the surgeon get ready for surgery. We still have Dermot's gloves at home. He uses them to do "experiments" or "science".
Dermot is helping the surgery team get ready to operate on Hanna Banana (a real banana).
Dermot at the Liberty Science Center. Notice he still has on the gloves from his surgeon performance.
Dermot fighting the extreme wind at the Franklin Institute in Philly. I'm pretty sure the wind won since Dermot never figured out the principal of aerodynamics. He was supposed to use two of the paddle looking things and treat them like wings. He instead kept fighting the wind with his one paddle thing.
Dermot and Mama at the top of the big walk-through heart at the Franklin Institute in Philly. Dermot liked this so much that he went through once with Daddy and then had to show Mama what it was like too.
Dermot in a dinosaur footprint at the museum of natural science in Philly.
Dermot and Mama at the Big Dig digging up fossils at the natural science museum in Philadelphia. This lasted for all of 2 minutes before Dermot wanted Mama and Daddy to do the digging for him.
