Dermot shows his love of the Wiggles Band-Aid.
For those of you who know anything about Dora the Explorer, she has a talking backpack that helps her on her missions. Dermot's new backpack came with a little backpack that is just like Dora's. It even comes with The Map! He wore this all day on Monday. He just loves it.
Here's Dermot's new Dora backpack. Dermot loves to put things in bags and take them out again, so I thought it would be nice for him to have his own bag. He is also at a point where he wants things to really be his and he wants to carry his things around. So it makes him happy on several levels.
Dermot requested that we take the potty out of the closet this weekend. All he did was run into the bathroom every 5 minutes (fully dressed) and sit on it for about 30 seconds. He never did really use it, but that's okay. I'm in no mood to potty train until after we are settled in NewJersey.
Here's Dermot modeling his new pullup diapers while showing his love for the pictures of Dora on his unopened swimming diapers. I got sick of Dermot undoing the tabs on his regular diapers, so I have switched to pullups at home. They seem to presenting us with different difficulties, so we'll have to see what happens.
What big shoes to fill! Dermot actually managed to walk across half of the kitchen in Ethan's shoes before Ethan was able to catch this picture.
Does it get any cuter than a sleeping child? Here's Dermot napping on our bed because his bed was still full of Legos from earlier in the day.
They painted the kids' faces at day care on Friday, and most of the kids were pirates. They made Dermot a biker. I guess that his mustache, beard, and side burns combination made him a biker in their mind.
Father and Son having a great time at Dermot's Spring Sing event at daycare.
This is for all of our bowling friends and my brother Kevin. Dermot has watched bowling on ESPN classic and loves it. So here he is trying his hand at it with an aluminum foil ball.
Dermot's getting ready for the big move. Mommy bought this shirt for him when she was at the airport coming home from her job interviews. It's too big, but it's cute.
Dermot and Daddy looking out the back window for bunnies and birds.
Everybody else who has tulips around here has seen them bloom and almost die already. Mine just opened up today. We finally got some sun that convinced them to open.
