Sorry this round of pictures was late. We've been having internet connectivity problems. I spent part of this weekend trying to teach Dermot the wonders of capes.
We finally convinced Dermot to wear his slippers! Also, notice the joy a toddler can find in a ziploc bag:)
Dermot with some of his favorite things. In his right hand he has his train remote control, and in his left hand he has the little Swiffer vacuum I bought Ethan for Christmas.
I asked Ethan to take a picture of Dermot's new shoes for me, and he took me very literally. I was so happy to find another pair of shoes to wear. All he has worn for the last three or four sizes is gym shoes because it's hard to find non-leather toddler shoes.
Dermot decided by himself to put on Ethan's hat and mittens. Ethan added the scarf as the final touch.
Who? Me? Notice that he's carrying the lion from his A to Z zoo set. He just loves animals so much.
Dermot amidst all of his Bob the Builder Lego toys. He has a ton of them and he loves them all. On an unrelated note, this shirt was bought for him by his Nana and Pop Pop. His Grandma and Grandpa later bought him the same shirt in the next size up without knowing that he already had one. Great minds think alike, I guess.
Hey. You. Call me sometime.
Ethan took this while Dermot was napping on my lap. I was napping too, and I wasn't even aware that Ethan took this picture.
I found this shirt at cafepress.com. It says powered by tofu. With Dermot this is so very true. He loves the stuff.
Here's Dermot and the new vegetable set we got for him. He had so much fun playing with these toys with his friend Anne (the daughter of our friends Rich and Kathleen) that we just had to buy him his own set.
Dermot looks like he's channeling Seattle, circa 1992

Here's a picture of Dermot with his new A to Z zoo and a new set of PJs: both from Grandma and Grandpa.
